1 Bedroom

With this being a 1 bedroom you should focus on the bedroom which will take about 20-30 minutes if it isn’t too messy and dirty. Add the bathroom to the list which will take an additional 15-20 minutes. Next, cleaning the living room where a guest is most likely to visit which will take 30 minutes.

Dust, mop, light declutter. Last but not least, the kitchen is also another place guest may possible see and may take about 30-40 minutes to clean so get those dirty dishes watched, light declutter, mop, clean the microwave and pack out those clean dishes\cups in case your guest wants to eat.

2 Bedrooms

Turn your attention to the living room and give it 20- 30 minutes for the simple reason that you may get a guest. If you have a guest bathroom that should be next in line to be cleaned. Give it 15-20 minutes of cleaning. Kitchen is next in line to be cleaned which will probably take 30 minutes. Since to have the areas that may get guest, clean the master bedroom last by giving it 20-25 minutes of cleaning.

3 Bedrooms

So for the most part, with 3 bedroom homes, you probably may have a guest room for guest so clean this room and it shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes. Most likely the guest bathroom is not directly in the guest room so clean this room and don’t spend more than 20 minutes doing so.

The living room is next, so allocate 30 minutes to tidy up. For the living room, list small task like clean the baseboards, coffee table, mop, light dusting and straighten bookshelf if applicable. The kitchen, give 25 minutes. Wash the dishes, mop, and put away the already washed dishes plus pots and pans. and lastly, if there is a den, clean this area as well with the 15 minutes that’s leftover.
